Honestly? This is one of our favorite spots to shoot a wedding.

The Narrative
1. Before the wedding – Getting to know you
As soon as you book, we schedule a 2-hour Zoom together. We talk about your story. What’s important to you. Important people. The moments you absolutely want to keep in photos AND on video.
At the end of those 2 hours, we know exactly what to capture. We’re no longer strangers – we’re part of the team.
2. The morning of the wedding – Interviews + preparations
While Pat sits down with each of you for a 30-minute interview (it’s YOUR words that tell the story of the film), Caroline captures the preparations in photos: the make-up, the dress, the details, the nervous laughter.
Zero compromise. All covered. All at once.
3. All day long – We live it with you
We’re here for 12 hours. From morning to the first dance. With 6 cameras between photo and video, we capture :
- All angles of the ceremony (front, back, sides)
- Your guests’ reactions
- Portraits of couples by the lake
- Official family photos
- Spontaneous moments between official events
- The first dance, the speeches, the party

Do you have any questions about our souvenir packages? Here are the answers to the questions we are asked most often.
Why are you offering the film AND the photos together?
Because it’s the perfect combination for your memories. Photos freeze time – you can frame them, put them in an album, display them in your home. But film is where it gets crazy. We do interviews in the morning – YOUR words, YOUR voices – your story told by you. In 40 years, your grandchildren will be able to hear you tell the story of why you got married. The photos show what you looked like. The film shows who you were. And because we’re already there with you for 12 hours, we capture both at the same time – without stress, without coordination between suppliers, with a coherent vision. Couples who thought they just wanted photos always thank us for insisting on film. It’s often what they watch the most.
What exactly is your vision?
We want to create emotional time capsules. Not just pretty pictures – memories that gain in value over time. 40 years from now, you’ll be able to show this film to your grandchildren and say, “This is who we were. This is why we got married. These are the people we loved.” That’s why we do the interviews in the morning, why we spend 2 hours in Zoom before the wedding, why we spend 12 hours with you. We want to get to know you so we can tell your story – not just film one day.
Are you familiar with the Auberge du Lac Morency?
Yes, we really do. We’ve shot several weddings here, and we love the place. We know the best spots for photos – the lakeside at golden hour, the intimate spots for your portraits, the spectacular drone angles over the mountains. We know where to do those quiet morning interviews. We know the right light for different times of day. And we get on well with the team on location – it makes the day run more smoothly for everyone. You won’t have a videographer discovering the location on the morning of your wedding.
What exactly is the Confessional?
This is one of our favorite additions. During the cocktail party, we set up a small private space where your guests can come and leave you a personal message. Solo, duo, gang – it’s up to them. The day goes by fast, and your guests never have time to tell you everything they’d like to. Le Confessionnal is their private moment with you. We edit it all into a separate video – and honestly, many couples tell us they watch the Confessional as much (if not more) than their movie. It’s often here that we find the most touching, the funniest, the truest messages.
Do you know the Auberge well?
Yes, we’ve filmed several weddings there. We know the best spots for photos, the angles for the drone, the light depending on the time of day. This allows us to capture images that a videographer unfamiliar with the location might miss.
How far in advance do I need to book?
As soon as possible. We shoot no more than 25 weddings a year, and our dates at the Auberge go quickly. Ideally 8-12 months in advance, but contact us if it’s tighter – we sometimes have openings.
Can you travel to the Auberge at no extra charge?
Yes, Auberge du Lac Morency is in our coverage area. No travel fees.
