Just a brief note here to explain our name change.
I have always been fond of the name ixpé. Let’s just say Caro was less keen on it…
For me, it signified an experience, the one people have when they decide to entrust us with filming their wedding. However, after this year and the numerous weddings we have filmed, two aspects consistently emerged. Clients were thrilled with the film, which is commendable, but they were equally enthusiastic about the experience they shared on their wedding day with Caro and me, to such an extent that it was often one of the most memorable aspects of their day.
This is deliberate. This is our aim. This enables us to create videos that are more authentic, more transparent, and more reflective of our clients’ true selves. Furthermore, with ixpé also encompassing a corporate division, we sought to differentiate the two ventures and avoid confusing individuals with the distinct experiences we provide.
We also desired our name to be more closely aligned with the experience clients undergo, to truly represent what genuinely transpires.
And for us, it is inconceivable to undertake one without the other, just as it is inconceivable to film a wedding without having established a certain rapport with our couples. When clients opt to engage our services, they engage both of us, Patrice and Caroline, Miron & Co.
That concludes our explanation.
